About Us
The String Band Division is the musical highlight of the Mummers Parade. The String Bands are known for their happy music and elaborate costuming. The first String Band participated in the 1901 parade as a novelty. This continued to grow and in 1915 their own division was formed.

How to Watch the 2026 Parade
No Cable or Satellite:
In the Philadelphia area- Over the air on Channel 2 using a digital tuner or antenna. In the Lehigh Valley/Berks Area-Over the air on Channel 69.3 using a digital tuner or antenna.
Cable/Satellite providers:
Tune to Channel 2 for the following cable/satellite providers:
Comcast/Xfinity, Verizon Fios, DirecTV, Dish Network, Blue Ridge, Cablevision, and RCN.
Tune to Channel 7 if your service provider is Service Electric
Online Streaming:

2026 String Band Parade Down Haddon Ave
The Mummers are heading to Camden County! Join us for the 4th Annual String Band Parade Down Haddon Ave as the Philadelphia Mummers String Bands march live down Haddon Ave. This free, family-friendly event brings the beloved Mummers tradition across the bridge for an unforgettable afternoon of live music, stunning handmade suits, and community celebration.
Catch live performances at four main locations along the parade route: Brewers, Reunion Hall, Pour House, and Haddon Square. While you’re there, pick up official parade merchandise, including shirts and hoodies, and let the kids (or kids at heart) get creative at our Build Your Own Mummers Umbrella and Build Your Own Mummers Hat stations.
Grab your lawn chair, bring the whole family, and we’ll see you on Haddon Ave!
